Reading Night 2026 at EFAD: a magical evening between cities and countryside

Reading Night 2026 took place this Thursday and was, once again, a wonderful evening for our community! Despite the threat of rain, young and old gathered happily under the sign of reading, sharing, and beautiful stories.
This year, the event carried a rich and inspiring theme: "Cities and Countryside."
At preschool (Covarrubias 46): wonder and spectacle
Preschool students enjoyed, at Covarrubias 46, a beautiful, captivating show by the Ohtli troupe, built around the book "Érase una vez una jaula." A great moment of wonder for our youngest readers!
At Veramendi 32: the joy of shared stories
At Veramendi 32, elementary and middle school students attended the traditional read-alouds. This year, the number of volunteer readers literally exploded, and we are delighted!
Alongside the warm presence of parents and grandparents, teachers and former EFAD students also joined in to pass on their passion for books to the youngest.
Activities for every taste
The evening was also filled with a multitude of playful and artistic workshops:
- Exciting rounds of the game Dixit;
- A big drawing contest inspired by the year's theme;
- Various creative games that sparked everyone's imagination.
To crown the celebration, the evening ended with the always-delightful show by Norma Torres, the storyteller who has become a true tradition of our Reading Night!
A big thank you to the APIS organizing committee and to the families who contributed greatly to making this evening a success. The commitment of EFAD's teaching and administrative team also deserves recognition: everyone's involvement makes all the difference!
